The people that run Britannic Care have 50 years of care and nursing experience between them, so are ideally experienced and placed to help you with all of your care needs, for both care workers and care homes. Sue has a background in Nursing, Medical Locums and Managing Care services in Elderly residential with Dementia and in the community. Ismail has helped to manage in both residential, the community and has managed end of life care requirements.

SAFE – All of our care workers have been thoroughly vetted with immigration compliance and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Our workers have been trained and you will always be sent a profile prior to the commencement of a shift stating the dates of training and the DBS disclosure date with a photograph of the worker.
CARING – We really do care that we provide you with good staff to assist you in running your care teams when your own staff cannot. The people we have registered with us are of the highest calibre, and we will always ask you for feedback to assist us with our Quality Assurance, and so we can deal with any concerns you may have promptly and effectively. We totally understand that you elderly and frail residents need kindness AND care and not just a safe pair of hands and we always recruit our staff with that uppermost in our minds.
RESPONSIVE – We are always at the end of the phone during out of hours for your urgent care worker needs and will do all we can to fill your shifts at short notice. You can contact us by phone or email or message, whichever works for you best in your bust day.
If you have a compliment about our workers we will let our workers know promptly, this fosters good relationships for all parties. EFFECTIVE – We know how it feels when your own staff member is poorly and cannot attend a shift, it affects the entire team and all the team want is to operate as efficiently as possible to ensure their residents are cared for promptly and safely. We know the collective groan when the team realise that they have “an agency” attending. We know this is true on the initial shift, however we pick our team carefully and explain it takes time to learn each care home’s way of working. If you use our workers more than once, then rapport is developed and they often bed in well with the team once they know your routine.
WELL LED – We come from a nursing and caring background and have managed Care Homes, Home Care services, Children with challenging behaviour and a Medical Doctors Locum Agency. We have very high standards and we expect high standards from our employees at all times. If you have any safeguarding concerns involving any of our workers we will investigate and action as you require to aid your investigations. We offer a professional and confidential service, focussing on compliance of our workers, quality assurance from our clients and a service you can rely on at short notice, or for planned placements.
